“Mother’s Day” Meets “Thematic Party Day”

On May 10, the fourth-floor conference room of the Villagers’ Committee in Baojia Village, Luli Subdistrict, Changsha County, was buzzing with excitement. Party members from the County Emergency Management Bureau’s Party Branch, the Baojia Village Party General Branch, the Quantang Subdistrict Quanrui Community Party Branch, the Quanrui Community China Railway International Residential Area Party Branch, and the Xinhongyuan High-Tech Party Branch—as well as invited party-member mothers—gathered here to jointly hold a themed Party Day activity titled “Singing Praises to Mothers, Singing Praises to the Party,” in celebration of the upcoming “Mother’s Day,” thereby expressing their deep love for both the Party and their mothers.

At the event site, Zhang Shanshan, the organizational committee member of the Party branch of the County Emergency Management Bureau, expressed her best wishes to all mothers and called on all Party members to stay true to their original aspirations and keep their mission firmly in mind, cherishing the Communist Party—their great mother—just as they would cherish their own mothers.

Next, the various party branches will jointly carry out the “One Lesson, One Film, One Practical Activity” initiative. Jiang Jun, Secretary of the Party Branch of Quanrui Community, and Su Xingxiang, Secretary of the Party Branch of the China Railway International Residential Area in Quanrui Community, each delivered brief Party lessons, guiding party members and cadres to always maintain a sense of reverence, firmly uphold the bottom line of integrity, and strengthen self-discipline, thus demonstrating loyalty, integrity, and responsibility. This will help foster a clean and upright social atmosphere and contribute solidly to the high-quality development of all undertakings across the county.

Subsequently, all Party members watched the Party education film titled “Cultivating a Clean and Upright Party and Government Atmosphere Through Good Family Traditions,” gaining an understanding that the family ethos of leading cadres serves as a barometer of Party and government conduct and acts as a vanguard for social norms. This film guided Party members and cadres to foster upright family traditions, build a strong line of integrity, and use good family ethos to nurture a clean and transparent Party and government atmosphere. Kong Xinyi, Deputy Secretary of Quanrui Community, drew on her own family tradition—“cultivate oneself and regulate one’s family, govern the country and bring peace to the world”—as a descendant of Confucius, and emphasized the importance of cultivating positive family values.

In addition, at the event site, Party member calligraphy enthusiasts spontaneously wrote heartfelt blessings for their mothers and for the Party, and presented their mothers with carnations and calligraphy and painting works.

Wang Chao, a member of the Party branch committee of Baojia Village, invited his mother to step onto the stage. With heartfelt gratitude, he thanked the Party for its nurturing and his mother for her loving upbringing. As he presented her with flowers and gave her a warm embrace, he sincerely wished her a happy holiday. More than ten Party members took to the stage to share their gratitude toward both the Party and their mothers. Moved to deep emotion, many Party members and mothers were seen shedding tears at the scene. For those mothers who couldn't be present, the Party members expressed their love through pre-recorded videos.

“This kind of activity is truly meaningful—well-prepared, thoughtfully organized, and immensely beneficial for Party members. I hope we can have more exchanges and collaborate more closely in the future,” said Jiang Jun, secretary of the Quanrui Community Party branch, as he shook hands with Party members from Baojia Village after the event concluded.

It is understood that, in order to further promote the implementation of the Party-building synergy and innovation project and advance the principles of "interconnected interaction, joint construction and co-creation, resource sharing, and joint organization of activities," Baojia Village has continuously innovated its Party-building work model. This event not only further strengthens the collaborative synergy between paired organizations, enhances exchanges among Party members from Baojia Village and other Party organizations, and elevates the Party consciousness and competence of Party cadres and members, but also carries forward and promotes traditional virtues of the nation, upholds fine family traditions, and fosters a positive atmosphere of gratitude toward mothers and the Party.
